Summer in the Park

Here's a new one I recently painted at Hills and Dales park in Kettering, Ohio. It's an 11" x 14" oil on canvas I call "Summer in the Park." It will (when it dries) be wired and ready to hang, with black painted edges. So it can be displayed as is or slipped into a standard-size frame. Pine Shadows

Here is a new 14" x 11" oil on canvas I made from observation alla prima (in one setting) a few days ago. It's wired and ready to hang. I'm calling it "Pine Shadows." Enjoy.

Willow Day

I made this painting at a lovely park I'd never been to before in Kettering, Ohio. Amazing what we have around us and never realize. The piece is a 14" x 11" oil on canvas I've been calling "Willow Day." Enjoy.

Red Delicious

Here's a last look at an apple I brought back from my Florida trip. It's a 6" x 8" oil on panel titled "Red Delicious," and the subject was, indeed, red and delicious. Enjoy.

Darling Clementines

It's back to the indoor painting again. This piece is a 6" x 8" oil on panel called "Darling Clementines." I've always liked these little fruits - which some call small oranges and others call tangerines. I just call them Clementines. Enjoy.

Early Signs

Here's my take from the one nice day we had last week. It's a little 8" x 6" oil on panel called "Early Signs." All the snow and rain have made for a nicely running stream in our woods. This, along with patches of grass and moss, make it seem like Spring can't be too far away.

Gulf Sunset
