Fun Times on Kings Yard!

Good times were had by all yesterday on what turned out to be a cool but beautiful, sunny day on Kings Yard in Yellow Springs, at Springs Gallery's second workshop with steel painter Mike Elsass. Mike provided all - including use of tuxedo shirts - and students went home with some of their own painting creations. The day also featured a brief, spontaneous poetry reading by local poet Pamela Barger. Pamela read a few pieces from her book titled, "Transformations." Painting to poetry - it seemed appropriate for the day.

This was Springs Gallery's second and final workshop with Mike Elsass for the year, but we plan to organize and host more workshops with Mike that will be held in his Dayton studio in January/February. So if this interests you - call or drop us a line.

We are also currently planning more classes and workshops in our Yellow Springs gallery, so stay tuned. And remember, if you are interested in taking or teaching a specific class or workshop with Springs Gallery - contact us with your ideas. Thanks!
