Red Hibiscus

These lovely, vivid flowering plants are so vital down here in southern Florida that the gardeners grow them as hedges and lop them off with shears. Sigh. Here's one from a bush outside our hotel. Winter Sky

One nice thing this down time has afforded me is the chance to notice skies. And they have been changing rapidly these days. I can see, photograph, and paint both close-up and far-off vistas from the comfort of my studio. I have a feeling there's a series coming.
